Emraan Hashmi to make South debut, to play the antagonist in Pawan Kalyan starrer OG : Bollywood News

Saaho director Sujeeth is all set to return with an intense gangster drama titled OG, which will feature power star Pawan Kalyan along with Priyanka Mohan as the female lead. Meanwhile, a big update about the film is that it will feature Emraan Hashmi. The Jannat star is all set to make his South debut and will be seen essaying the role of an antagonist in the film.

The Telugu drama OG will star Emraan Hashmi who will playing Pawan Kalyan’s nemesis in the film. Talking about making his debut in the Telugu film industry, Emraan Hashmi said, "I am excited to embark on this new journey with OG. The movie has a strong and gripping script, and it offers me a challenging role. I am looking forward to working with Pawan Kalyan Sir, Sujeeth, Danayya Sir and the team. I am confident that we will create a memorable cinematic experience for the audience."

Last year in December 2022, Sujeeth had announced OG with Pawan Kalyan in the lead and had also shared an image on his social media saying, “With Love Your Fan”.

Along with Pawan Kalyan and Priyanka Mohan, the Telugu film also stars Arjun Das and Sriya Reddy in key roles. With Music by Thaman S, OG is produced DVV Danayya, written & directed by Sujeeth under DVV Entertainments banner. The film also has veteran actor Prakash Raj in a prominent role. The third schedule of the film is currently in progress in Hyderabad.

On the other hand, interestingly, Emraan Hashmi is also expected to play an antagonist in the Bollywood film Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead.
